My husband, Richard, and I stayed at the Falcon Hotel from October 26, 2016 through November 3, 2016.  We had a wonderful stay at the Falcon Hotel.  All the staff was warm and friendly and helpful.  The bountiful breakfast was absolutely delicious!!  We loved the beautiful, quiet park across the street from the hotel.  There were many wonderful restaurants nearby and it was an easy walk to Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate Station.  Thank you again for making our stay in London "extra special".

Right from the initial contact for the booking - till leaving we were
well looked after and nothing was too difficult.
Help was always available and with a friendly smile.
The hotel is ideally suited for travel from our railway station
Paddington, which is only a short distance away,
and to easy access to the tube where you can easily reach central London
within minutes.
The hotel is in a very quiet location and the roads are well lit.
I found the rooms warm, very clean, more than adequate in size and with
an ample sized bathroom with shower and toilet.
The bed was extremely comfortable enabling us to relax and catch up with
those zzzz's.
Breakfast was brilliant - All freshly cooked with so many choices.

Given the convenient location of the Falcon within just two short blocks from the Paddington underground and railway stations, with similar access to bus stops, I thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of getting to anywhere I wanted to go in London in just a few minutes, while avoiding the more expensive lodging within the West End theatre district.  

I found the entire staff of this charming little bed and breakfast hotel to be courteous and helpful.  As a senior citizen travelling alone it was a comfort to have the folks at the Falcon make me feel as if I had a home away from home while in London.  I look forward to returning soon!

Thanks again for the care and assistance so generously provided during my wonderful trip.  I do hope to return to the Falcon and my newly adopted home city in the very near future.  This was truly a life-changing visit.

The prebooking queries and questions for a double en-suite room were responded to fully and promptly and were most helpful.. checking in was also very friendly and help and advice was always at hand.. you just dial 0 from your room 24 hours a day and more like a 5 star hotel they go out of their way to help (even delivered toilet paper to our room when we ran out!)...

The room were furnished traditionally and very clean.. the bathrooms seem to be new and extremely clean too.. room sizes were bigger than I was used to and just comfortable (I have been to many places with higher prices but in much smaller rooms)... thir website mentions they use marrriot double beds in their rooms.. I have never been to a marriott before but their beds were proper and very comfortable with sprung base and sprung edged divans not like contract beds with 4 wooden legs I had the pleasure of sleeping in before. The beddings were clean and fresh. Our room was quiet and my wife in particular was relaxed and felt at home.

Breakfast was what you expect of a b&b but fresh and as much as you eat. I am not a breakfast person and just had orange juice, toasts and coffee, plentiful!

Whilst shopping my wife popped into a few other hotels and could not match the price for their quality, so overall we think we had real value for money at 79 a night........ thank you Falcon for such a wonderful place, wonderful service and wonderful stay! will be back!"

I have to write and say how much I enjoyed staying at the Falcon (October, 2004) ?all of the reviews are exactly true!  The location is fabulous ?so close to Hyde Park, Paddington Station and the tube (as well as the Heathrow Express ?I arrived at the airport with nothing to do!), small shops, cafes and an internet caf?  I felt I never had to go very far for anything.  The hotel does feel like home, with wonderfully welcoming and helpful reception staff whom I was genuinely sad to say goodbye to.  My room was basic but clean ?what more do you want for such an amazing price?  Traveling on my own, I felt very safe and enjoyed meeting people in the breakfast room each day.  I count myself very fortunate to have found this hotel over the internet, and I tell all my friends and anyone coming to London about it.  Thank you!

We found the location to be good as it was easy to access the underground and just minutes from most any attraction that we wished to see. It was also quiet and very well kept. Simple! We have turnover and lots of repeat business keeping us occupied throughout the year. Many hotels at best have an average of 60% occupancy rate. We run not below 80%. Also we run a reservation book like a city trader does. By taking confirmed bookings only  based on one night deposit, we do not have to make up for loss on customers who do not show up up!



 Only through your comments we can improve and sell ourselves. Constructive comments and criticism equally accepted!
